Salisbury Dog Trainers
Website Design

Today we’re going to be talking about some website design that we’ve recently undertaken!
As website designers in Salisbury, we’re always thrilled when we ge a chance to create a website for a local business and what a treat this one was!
Dan and Jenni from Salisbury Dog Trainers have a growing business and are getting a lot of great feedback on their Facebook page, but when we started a conversation with them, they didn’t have an online presence or brand identity.
The scope of the project was to design a modern, responsive website that would look great on mobile and on a PC and to get them set up with an affordable logo to help them further project their brand — and we’re really happy with the results!
Have a look for yourself:
As any dog owner will know, those cute furry little(or large) hair-balls are members of the family and there was a need to convey both a professional outlook, but also a friendly one.
The challange that we had was getting a comfortable balance between a ‘professional’ look that didn’t understand the emotional connection and the ‘family’ look that doesn’t understand that dog training requires discipline and modern technique.
The Solution
We wanted the visitors to feel like their dog would be in good hands. Thankfully, Jenni (chief dog-whisperer) of the Salisbury Dog Trainers had a load of past experience for us to talk about and we share details of her history and capabilities throughout the website.
We applied a clean professional looking website design to help reinforce the idea that Jenni doesn’t just love dogs, but she’s also a professional at what she does with years of heritage and experience under her belt.
We softened everything up by including some cartoon iconogrophy to give it a more friendly look and of course loads of pictures of our canine friends!
To make sure that the visitors would be able to get in touch with her easily, we included lots of buttons and clear contact forms.
We also added in a blog so that Jenni can easily connect with her visitors and give them great dog training tips!
Dan and Jenni have already reported their website is getting them leads and is starting to storm up the local google rankings so well done them!
It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Dan and Jenni on this project and I think that the next step for them would be to build an awesome web-store to help them boost their income and make sure that their clients have top-quality doggie products and we look forwared to working with them again in the future!
